It’s been my lucky month for perfume- I have just run across another delightful offering that is 100% organic and comes with the best applicator I’ve seen!

Urban Organic Perfume from A Perfume Organic has been described as a “sweet lemon sorbet with bourbon, tangy lime peel, basil & ginger, smokey vetiver and exotic angelica root.” I have to concur - my green beauty spidey sense alerted me to this product from afar, and I homed in with precision to see if it lived up to the hype. A Perfume Organic definitely does - the company’s commitment to green initiatives and their pledge to keep toxins off my skin thrilled me - but could the product actually stand up to closer inspection?

I was pleasantly surprised! The scent of Urban Organic Perfume is rich but not overpowering, and it lasts longer than most perfumes that rely on essential oils alone. (I’ve found that many organic perfumes fade quickly, and require almost hourly application. Not so with A Perfume Organic!)

The stainless steel roller ball makes application so easy. I love the way it glides on smooth and cool, and I don’t have to dab it on with my fingers - another gripe I have with many organics; have you ever tried eating finger food with hands that smell like gardenias? I have added this product to my personal collection, and plan to save it for - shall we say - more exotic evenings!
